Night Tennis - Tuesday Ladies
This is the perfect competition for the busy women who wants to
keep herself active and loves her tennis. A graded, 5 member team format
is used so everyone gets to play competitive tennis against players of a
similar standard.
You don’t need to give up your weekends nor cope with the summer afternoon heat.
All matches are
played on muscle friendly synthetic grass courts under lights. We offer a
summer and a winter competition so you can play all year if you like.
There is no play during school holidays so there are no worries about finding fill-ins when you take your vacation.
The summer
competition starts at the beginning of term 4 and finishes at the end of
term 1 the following year. The winter competition begins after the
Easter holidays and finishes at the end of term 3.
TEAMS
- All players are graded 1 to 5 prior to teams being formed
- Each team comprises a player graded 1 to 5
- Each team is required to field a team of 4 players each week
PLAY
- Play starts at 7pm
- Each player will play 2 sets
- Each set is played to 9 games on two courts with a tie break at 8 all
FORMAT
- First Set 1 & 2 V 1 & 2 3 & 4 V 3 & 4
- Second Set 1 & 3 V 1 & 3 2 & 4 V 2 & 4
